The reluctance of many people using linux is because its hard to find and obtain the support hardware drivers and is compatible with linux version used.
One of the favorite linux distro like ubuntu is still difficult supports a variety of hardware drivers that are used as printers.
It is also understandable because the software developers of computer hardware manufacturers haven't 100% support the open source community.
